Meet the Artist
Sheelagh McHaffie began her artistic journey in a bohemian home full of art and music. Growing up surrounded by New Zealand's diverse and influential artists, creativity was inevitable.
As a young parent, Sheelagh's priority was providing the right support and advocacy for her daughter with ASD, alongside working to enrich the lives of those in need through humanitarian aid work. Art was an outlet, but not one that she had time or energy to pursue.
In 2022, with the support of her family, Sheelagh made the decision to dedicate time to her art and take opportunities as they arose.

The past year has seen Sheelagh rise to the challenge, creating a body of exceptional work.

She has exhibited and sold work in several curated shows and competitions, beating out more established artists and selling out shows.
Winning awards and gaining attention, this is an artist to watch.
